The Marketing department is in the process of evolving and developing in order to drive business growth and revenue over the coming years. This is a strategic but ‘hands-on-role' within the IWI marketing team. The core purpose is to help enforce a Client centric strategic approach to all action – identified through careful insight and analysis and delivering a clear Go to Market approach for UK agreed segments of the UK population
Strategic Planning & Insight
Work closely with the business to establish a clear strategic plan that focuses on bringing to life the core proposition of our 5 main segment areasPartner closely with our Change team to deliver client centric marketing initiatives Work in partnership with our product team to design and launch products and services which appeal to our clients and prospectsOwn the yearly planning cycle for MarketingDevelop strategic plans that engage at a regional, scale – grasping the geographical marketing, media and communication platformsDevelop and plan a key strategy that examine all stakeholder audiences – employees, clients, influencers and media – adapting strategic approach against key areasWork alongside data and insight (and with third parties where relevant) ensuring current and future predictive analytics shape the marketing and business strategyDrive digital strategy in partnership with key stakeholdersUnderstand and leverage competitor information Client advocacy management is a key part of the role – discernment of how analytics and the client referral approach can help shape our marketing directionPrioritise Marketing investment across segmentsResponsible for delivery of the defined IWI client segment and marketing strategy, with a particular focus on client acquisition and retention and the integration of online and offline marketing action.Define the budget and resource allocation required to deliver against segmented audience and the required marketing strategy and tactics.Measuring the outcomes of marketing initiatives against budgets, identifying key measures of success, and adapting strategy in line with outcomes of market and client segmentation analysis
Manage and Develop the Strategy Marketing TeamMentoring and guidance of senior strategist and plannersEnsure that project prioritisation right within the strategy and delivery teams
• Are you able to demonstrate strong, well evidence background in senior leadership strategy, planning and analysis marketing? • Do you have excellent experience in initiating, creating and driving segmented value propositions through to message development and implementation of campaigns? • Do you have experience in strategic planning across marketing(including strong digital strategic knowledge)• Can you demonstrate experience of acquisition and retention marketing?• Strategy development in a B2B & B2C environment• Good experience of agency supply management – working across multi agencies to help develop core campaign work• Management of industry strategic partnerships – initiating, driving and implementing key business strategic agreements• Strategic value proposition development – • Do you have experience of financial services market place? • Clear grasp of marketing regulatory requirements and operations process management – including marketing preferences, client communications mandatory (including on-boarding marketing), GDPR2 and other core divisional requirements• Understanding of Salesforce as a strategic engagement tool• Excellent skill set in data and research management – linked to segmentation analysis• Experience in developing messaging platforms at a divisional and product level, influencing business strategy• Do you understand client advocacy and skill set of implementing referral scheme such? • Experience of working across both domestic and global client audiences, tailoring marketing strategies accordingly
