These products include foreign exchange, money marketsand interest rates.This is achieved by generating leads and meeting the key decision maker,and signing up the company through the articulation of the Investec TreasuryRisk Solutions value proposition. This attainment of new business is set inline with a team target for both money markets and foreign exchange andeach team will have a Team Leader at the helm.Key Responsibilities:Acquire New Business to meet set targets for FX & MM: Generate own leads through campaigns, events, networking andother creative approaches and convert to a client; visit generatedleads with the intention of acquiring their business. All clients should be visited before they are on-boarded. Tailor conversation and value proposition to the company's relevantindustry, business contact and decision maker. Ensure new business is only acquired within a defined territory andthrough clients that add to the quality of the book and not merely thequantity. Business networking and relationship building Understand the Investec value proposition and handle objections. Each salesperson will be responsible for contributing to an overallteam target but the individual's target will be fully identifiable andexpectations of the team target will be based around the cumulativeindividual targets.Assist with the account set up: Ensure the account has a suitable trading and credit limit (for both theclient and the Bank). Ensure the client's expectations are managed throughout this Process
Ensure all relevant information is input into the CRM system toensure correct MI and analysis of performance. Ensure all “know your client” (KYC) information is correct and up todate. Handhold the client until they are comfortable and ensure that theclient is happy with dealing with Investec.Maintain client relationship for their first year of trading: In the first year, the principle account relationship will migrate overtime from the sales person to the Dealer and Account Manager. It isimportant that the salesperson maintains a strong and fluidrelationship with the client and Dealer. Assist in the handover of the relationship after the year.Maintain dialogue with management and correctly utilise CRM at alltimes. Deliver weekly pipeline report to their Team Leader Attend weekly Sales Team meeting Attend monthly 1 to 1 meeting with their Team Leader Attend quarterly 1 to 1 meeting with the Sales Manager Attend 1 client meeting a month with their Team Leader Attend 1 client meeting a quarter with the Sales ManagerDemonstrate a genuine team player mentality: Assist other team members on meetings where required. Build strong internal relationships with dealers, credit officers,compliance and AML officers.
