Team Description

The Custody Reporting team consists of 22 staff supporting IW&I's nominee platform(s) – the team itself is split into 3 sub teams.

The team is involved in producing/investigating relevant nominee/valuation reporting & facilitating transfers in from respective brokers.

Description of role and key responsibilities

The purpose of this role is to facilitate client transfers in from other brokers.
The successful candidate must ensure that communication is clear throughout the transfer in life cycle & ensure any issues are highlighted in good time.


• Provide a high level front line service to Investment Managers & Assistants in relation to client transfers into IW&I's custody from other brokers;
• Accurately record, maintain & review inbound ongoing transfer requests on OMT transfer in system;
• Proactively work through outstanding items paying particular attention to aged, sensitive & urgent transfers &/or portfolios;
• Diagnose & apply problem solving skills to ensure any issues are minimised;
• Manage investment teams expectations throughout the transfer cycle
• Proactively identify ways in which we can improve the investment team's service experience – creating added value where possible;

Demonstrate pragmatic problem solving skills & be able to successfully communicate solutions as required

Core skills and knowledge

The successful candidate should have experience of the following:
• Proven track record of being a good communicator at all levels;
• Excellent organisation skills;
• Proven ability to work under pressure;
• Familiarity with Word/Excel is also essential.

Any other attributes that would be helpful, but not essential for the role.
