Aviation Finance is a specialist lending and investing desk which operates as a global team providing innovative funding solutions to the Aviation Industry with relationships with Airlines, Lessors as well as manufacturers, raising debt and equity finance from partnerships with global financial institutions in the fund space as well as providing lending from the bank's own balance sheet.

Who are we looking for?

The analysts that do best are self-starters who are eager to impress through working hard in a flat corporate structure in a team with an entrepreneurial approach to business. They are passionate about their work and can engage with a wide variety of different stakeholders. Typically, our team have a logical and analytical mind-set which has been developed through a technical qualification and/or studying a business, computer science or financial discipline at university.

We are looking for individuals with a keen interest and preferably some experience in aviation coupled an inquisitive nature and a desire to find new and better solutions. The successful candidate will bring robust analytical skills, high attention to detail and confidence in supporting both underwriting and execution workstreams in a dynamic deal environment. The role requires strong financial modelling capability, clear communication skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities and a proactive approach to supporting transaction execution from evaluation through to closing.

Description of role and key responsibilities

The Structuring and Execution Analyst will support the origination,

underwriting and execution of transactions across the aviation finance portfolio. The role will involve detailed financial and business analysis, financial modelling, preparation of internal approval materials and coordination across internal and external stakeholders through the deal lifecycle.

Core Skills & Knowledge

Key competencies required include:

• Strong financial modelling capability and experience in building and interpreting detailed cash flow models
• Strong understanding of financial statement analysis, credit underwriting and investment evaluation
• Ability to assess market trends, competition and macro and sector-specific factors to support sound credit judgment
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel, with the ability to prepare clear, accurate and well-structured materials
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal effectiveness across stakeholders
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and workstreams effectively
• High attention to detail, sound judgment and a disciplined approach to execution

Educational Background:

• First-attempt Chartered Accountant or MBA from a premier institution preferred.
• Exceptional candidates who are not CA or MBA qualified but have graduated from top-ranked colleges and can demonstrate strong competence and relevant experience may also be considered
