Analyst – Restructuring and Recoveries (Real Estate Focus)

Investec's Restructuring and Recovery team  are looking for a graduate Analyst to join the team within Corporate Lending, focusing on recovery work in real estate lending. You'll support the team in their activities, and gain exposure to development loans, corporate mortgages, insolvency etc. This is a high‑growth, high‑learning environment where you'll gain a solid foundation to build a career in Financial Services.

What will you be doing?

• Provide key administrative support across credit papers, proposals, and annual reviews to help the team manage workload and maintain governance standards.
• Contribute to project workstreams within assigned teams, providing research, analysis, and insights.
• Assist with analyses and communications, collaborating across the team
• Support the delivery of business objectives through data analysis, report preparation, and stakeholder engagement.
• Explore how AI and automation could streamline routine tasks and free up more time for client work.

Who we're looking for

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; proficient in Excel; comfortable with data handling and documentation.
• Ability to work collaboratively in teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Commercial awareness and an interest in financial services.
• Dynamic, energetic and tenacious 
• Interest in using AI to help with driving business efficiencies

As part of our collaborative & agile culture, our working week is 4 days in the office and one day remote.
