- Support communication with institutional investors, both through ongoing corporate broking activity and during transactions.
- Maintain current sector knowledge, awareness of market and industry practice, and strong commercial judgement.
- Build a broad understanding of Investec's capabilities and identify opportunities to connect clients with the wider organisation.
- Ensure relevant communications with clients, intermediaries and business contacts are accurately captured in the CRM.
- Contribute to the timely completion of team responsibilities, including standard pitch materials, transaction fee benchmarking and team agendas.
- Actively develop your technical knowledge and investment banking skill set.
What do I need to bring?

- Confidence using relevant systems and IT applications.
- The FCA Certificate in Corporate Finance, or the ability to meet this mandatory requirement for the role.
- An understanding that this is a client-dealing Certified Person role under the applicable regulatory framework.
I am good at:

- Applying sound judgement, acting with integrity and treating clients and prospective clients fairly.
- Taking ownership of my development, learning quickly and continually building my investment banking knowledge.
