Description of role and key responsibilities:
Reporting to the Service Lead for Meeting & Collaboration, the Audio Visual / Video Conferencing Specialist Lead is seen as a technical expert in the AV VC field and knowledgeable in the broader Network & Communications space.
This is a highly technical hands on and team lead role, with a focus on delivering and supporting high quality AV VC services. The role requires the ability to design solutions, implement complex changes, and troubleshoot complex operational issues. As well as deliver first class support to colleagues and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
The AV VC Specialist Lead primary areas of responsibility is ensuring that service impacting issues are resolved in a timely fashion, requests from the business are actioned according within the service management processes. While also ensuring that there are defined standards in place, the technical lifecycle of products & services is managed and deliver change/transformation against created designs; always ensuring a smooth transition/handover into Operations is completed.
Services you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting include, but are not limited to: Video Conferencing, Microsoft Teams, Webex, IP TV.
