Role Profile:
The role: We are looking to recruit an organised and experienced individual to join our Guernsey based operational banking team. The role requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual to support the day-to-day operations of the bank, supporting the efficient processing of transactions, maintaining accurate records and providing exceptional service to our clients and internal stakeholders. The successful candidate will be inquisitive, innovative, and keen to learn new skills to expand their existing knowledge base in order to deliver an exceptional client experience in both general Banking and execution only Custody services. They will also have the ability to challenge processes and procedures then suggest and help implement improvements, whilst maintaining controls. How to be successful in this role: As an enthusiastic banking operations professional in the financial services industry, you will have excellent organisational skills with a can-do attitude and proactive approach to supporting the bank's existing banking and treasury operations, helping to ensure a high level of client satisfaction for our clients. You'll be a process-oriented individual who works to safeguard the bank, it's reputation, assets and interests of our stakeholders by identifying and managing potential threats or risks to our ongoing operation, or raising concerns. You'll be bringing a good understanding of payment, foreign exchange, and fixed deposit processes, together with the surrounding regulatory environment and compliance landscape. You'll be highly reliable and able to perform under pressure – and it's essential you have the ability to learn fast and pick up new processes quickly.
