This is an exciting opportunity to help support our employees in all things relating to benefits and pensions. You'll be able to bring in an analytic mindset to ensure that we are providing benefits and pension schemes that add real value, both from an employee experience and commercial aspect.
We are looking for someone to take ownership of the current processes, and look for opportunities to improve, streamline and enhance what we have, as well as have an eye to the future for new benefits and savings. You'll need a keen focus on communications, making it as easy to possible for employees to understand what we offer, and ensuring they can easily find what they need.
The coordination of Investec's various benefits plans and projects will form a central part of the role, including collaboration with internal teams and stakeholders

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Communications and employee engagement

  • Ownership and creation of content for the Investec Be hub, where benefits and pensions information is located
  • Owner for new joiner sessions (run monthly), including presenting
  • Owner for quarterly benefits info sessions / updates; including presenting
  • Collation of feedback from new joiner/quarterly sessions, and utilisation to ensure that we continuously improve
  • Communications support and coordination of internal communications calendars and creation of promotional articles and resources for new and existing benefits
  • Ownership for benefits/pensions onboarding information; and liaising with careers team
  • Resolution of day to day benefits/pensions queries

Annual processes

  • Re-broking support for annual benefit renewals
  • Support on pensions auto re-enrolment
  • Support on pensions bonus sacrifice process

Benefits and Pensions vendor management

  • Vendor management (day to day account management, reviews, renewals, service levels, return on investment, take-up, feedback, and trends) – including gyms, dental scheme, ride2work.
  • Scheduling and support at account management meetings (primarily for private medical/healthcare, and pensions)

Projects and innovation

  • New benefits / pensions project and implementation support, and ongoing enhancement of current offerings including impact of legislative changes
  • Desire to learn about the benefits market, including thinking/knowledge input so we can remain externally competitive
  • Assist with review, design, and mapping of internal benefits processes; ensuring that they are streamlined and effective

Stakeholder collaboration

  • Liaison with internal teams i.e. Payroll and People Services on benefits issues
  • Support and advice to broader P&O team and Careers on all aspects of benefits

What are we looking for in you? 

Essential

  • Excellent coordination skills, liaising with multiple levels of team within a business.
  • Good experience of statistical analysis and presenting in a clear, concise way

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Appreciation of deadlines and commitment to task completion
  • Ability to prioritise and remain calm under pressure
  • Mature approach with sensitivity to confidentiality
  • Thrives working as part of a team
  • Ability to deal confidently with all employees
