What we're looking for

  • Our Projects team delivers a coherent and cohesive change portfolio which is driven by the firm's strategic business objectives. The team has a delivery capability and a strategic planning capability which together creates and maintains an achievable and affordable change portfolio for Wealth and Investment.
  • To support the Central PMO Lead we are looking for a strong team player in the gathering, consolidation, validation, reconciliation, formatting and distribution of project, programme and change portfolio data (cost, people, performance, RAID, status).
  • Help projects adhere to agreed standards, processes and policies through the provision of effective guidance and related artefacts templates and training materials
  • Help create a single version of the truth for the team, the broader IT team and its stakeholders - communicate effectively, ensuring coherence and clarity

Your role 

  • Collation of the change portfolio resource forecast
  • Maintenance of the change portfolio resource tracker i.e. including the collation and validation of data from senior stakeholders. In depth analysis to identify resource hotspots and report compilation / publishing
  • Produce monthly reporting packs for programme and portfolio governance forums
  • Production of weekly timekeeping reports
  • Liaising with Finance to produce financial budget reports
  • Maintenance of the projects teams SharePoint site
  • Collation and validation , maintenance of portfolio risks and issues
  • Fundamentally responsible for Driving efficiency and transparency across the Programme recommending changes or improvements in both working practices and processes.

What you bring to the table

  • Advanced Excel skills (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF, Macros and VB Script
  • Effective communication skills – written and spoken
  • Change management experience is advantageous – organisational and planning skills are essential
  • Hands on experience of technology solutions
  • An understanding of Project Portfolio Management
  • Ability to articulate complex data in a easily digestible format
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies eg PRINCE2 and Agile/Scrum
