About the team: 

The Corporate Dealing team sits within the Listed Client Group and delivers high-quality UK equity execution services to corporate clients, company directors and other non-institutional clients. The team provides responsive dealing support across share buybacks, director share sales and other corporate mandates. 

Reporting to Dan Celentano, Head of Corporate Dealing, you will work closely with Corporate Advisory, Execution, Operations and Onboarding colleagues to provide a coordinated service throughout the client and trade lifecycle. 

What will I be doing? 

• Execute UK equity transactions for corporate clients, including share buybacks, director share sales and other corporate dealing mandates.
• Manage day-to-day corporate client dealing relationships and provide a responsive, consistently high-quality service.
• Monitor and manage dealing activity in line with agreed mandates, execution strategies and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Prepare accurate daily and weekly trade reports and draft market announcements for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Provide relevant market updates, trading insights and clear feedback on execution performance.
• Support new-client onboarding and KYC reviews, working closely with Operations and Onboarding teams.
• Help clients use the Executive Client Portal effectively.
• Perform the role as a Certified Person carrying out a client-dealing function, maintaining the standards of integrity, conduct and regulatory knowledge expected of the position.

What do I need to bring? 

• Experience of UK equity markets, ideally gained within corporate dealing, trade execution or stockbroking.
• An understanding of UK equity market structure, trading practices and the regulatory requirements relevant to a client-dealing role.
• Strong Excel skills, with the ability to prepare, analyse and present accurate trade and client reporting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels.
• Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to perform effectively under pressure and make sound decisions in fast-moving markets.
• High levels of accuracy, attention to detail and commercial awareness.
• A commitment to acting with integrity, embracing the Consumer Duty Principles and treating customers fairly at all times.

I am good at: 

• Being calm, responsive and client-focused, with the confidence to take ownership of dealing activity.
• Collaborating across Corporate Advisory, Execution, Operations and Onboarding.
• Managing reporting, announcements and regulatory responsibilities in an organised and dependable way.
• Using Bloomberg and order management systems such as Fidessa, or learning new dealing technology quickly.
• Applying knowledge of UK settlement and custody practices.
