Correspondent Network Management are primarily responsible for the selection and management of the groups global network of banks and market infrastructures that facilitate all post trade flows. The team are also responsible for monitoring market developments and regulations to ensure Investec is at the forefront of changes
Objective of Role:Are you a self-starter with a diligent approach to work and can do attitude? Do you have payments or securities operations experience? Are you experienced in management of correspondent bank relationships? We are looking for an individual to come and join the Correspondent Bank Network Management function within Operations.
The person we are looking for must be a self-starter with some prior back office / operations experience with a knowledge of payments being advantageous. The candidate will be expected to take on their own suite of relationships where they will act as the point person for Investec Bank plc and our underlying subsidiaries. The person will also be responsible for acting as a control function, reviewing costs, managing external account repository and completing regular due diligence.
Key Responsibilities:-Management of cash and custody relationships
Coordination of and attendance at external bank meetings, write up, distribution of call reports; follow up on actions seeing through to completionIssue management and resolution for IBP and other entities as required
Development of market / industry knowledge; reviewing changes and analysing impacts to InvestecCompletion of regular due diligence on correspondent networkLife cycle management of all external accountsManagement of billing process; tracking key costs and spendCollation and distribution of NWM MI
Core skills and knowledge GeneralTo act with integrity at all times and embrace the philosophy of treating our customers fairly (compulsory)
To act as an ambassador for InvestecRegulatory knowledge (CASS, PSD2, EMIR) as applicable to role (advantageous)
