Team Description

The Fund Solutions team within the IGSI Credit Hub supports the wider Fund Solutions franchise of Investec Bank Plc, working in close partnership with the London and New York teams. The team acts as a key delivery node for Fund Solutions across LP based deals, NAV & GP financing, investor reporting, compliance and CLP-related activity, performing to the standard required by clients, funding partners and the global business. It is a people-first team focused on accuracy, responsiveness, standardisation and continuous improvement.

Description of role and key responsibilities

The role is to assist the Fund Solutions team with supportive tasks, acting as a key delivery node for Fund Solutions and performing to the standard required by the London and New York teams, clients and funding partners. The individual will also support the wider Fund Solutions IGSI team across investor reporting, compliance and CLP-related activity.

Key duties include:

Quarterly reporting (CLP)

·       Update CLP with the latest fund-level information each quarter.

·       Maintain Asset Performance and Fund Performance metrics within CLP on the quarterly cycle, ensuring data integrity and timely sign-off.

Compliance certificates

·       Update compliance certificate data points in CLP for all funds in scope.

·       Ensure accuracy and timeliness against the agreed compliance cycle, escalating any anomalies promptly.

Trade tickets and secondary sales support

·       Produce trade tickets for the syndication desk in support of secondary sale activity.

·       Liaise with GLO on drafting and validating Trade Confirmations, Transfer Certificates and Pricing Letters.

·       Ensure settlement dates are met across all secondary sale activity.

Investor reporting

·       Complete periodic investor reporting to funding partners, including (but not limited to) Cannon Bridge, EMX, PensionDanmark, Athora, L&G and Pimco.

·       Ensure reports are accurate, complete and delivered to the agreed timetable; flag and resolve queries from funding partners promptly.

·       Strong attention to detail, given the data-driven nature of CLP updates, compliance certificates and investor reporting.

·       Comfortable operating to fixed reporting cycles and settlement deadlines.

·       Strong written and verbal English; able to engage confidently with London-based deal teams and external funding partners.

·       Proficient in Excel; appetite to learn CLP and other internal Investec platforms.

·       Ability to work closely with the syndication desk, GLO and the wider Fund Solutions team across time zones.

Other attributes

Performance objectives – financial / strategic / quantitative

·       Deliver all quarterly CLP updates, compliance certificate refreshes, trade tickets and investor reports within agreed timelines, with zero material errors.

·       Achieve all KRI targets for quality and timeliness across investor reporting and trade ticket activity.

·       Document and standardise at least two key recurring processes per year, including defined timelines, quality benchmarks and control points.

·       Identify and progress one technology, AI or automation improvement that reduces manual effort in CLP or investor reporting.

Development focus

·       Reach BAU performance within three months, in line with the Credit Hub onboarding standard.

·       Build depth in Subscription financing, NAV & GP financing structures, covenant frameworks and the CLP platform.

·       Engage in structured training and informal learning opportunities offered by the Credit Hub and Fund Solutions team.

Career path

·       Foundation role for longer-term growth within the IGSI Credit Hub.

·       Scope expands from operational delivery into more analytical and credit-led work as capability builds.
