At Investec, we do things differently. We're a leading international bank and wealth manager built on a culture of curiosity, entrepreneurial spirit and human connection. Ideas are heard, ambition is celebrated, and impact is encouraged. As part of a team that challenges convention and strives for outperformance, you'll help shape bold solutions for clients who expect something more than the ordinary.
Team Description :
The Credit Hub is Investec's credit centre of excellence, based in India (IGSI), providing independent credit support to Private Markets, Private Clients, TRS and Credit across the Group. Its mandate is to protect the books of the desks that we are supporting through proactive portfolio management, early-warning identification and thematic reviews. The Hub delivers across three pillars: Credit Data (reliable, structured data to power credit decisions and portfolio insight); Credit Analysis (independent, high-quality analysis supporting portfolio monitoring, thematic insights and credit decisioning); and Process Transformation (automating and streamlining workflows, including AI tooling, to scale capacity and lift consistency). The Credit Hub operates as one team, underpinned by three key deliverables: quality, timeliness and consistency.
Investec is also establishing a new Corporate Bank, launching in 2026, which the Hub will support. The role will be focused on helping to establish the right processes, as it is expected that increased FTE will be required to build out to circa 1,000 clients over circa five years.

Team leadership – Manages, coaches and develops a team of circa 25 FTE across multiple desks: allocating and reviewing work, acting as first-line reviewer and quality gate for the team's credit submissions, setting and upholding quality standards, building credit capability, and representing the credit team with Coverage / Front office, Risk and other stakeholders.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead, manage, coach and develop a team of credit analysts – allocating work, setting quality standards and building credit capability
