Join Investec as a Customer Services Officer!

Become the first point of contact for our valued clients in this exciting and dynamic role. You will efficiently manage inbound customer account queries while showcasing your exceptional communication skills, particularly in effective complaint handling.

Key Responsibilities

• Efficiently manage inbound customer account queries
• Communicate clearly and effectively, including handling complaints
• Demonstrate strong time management skills and the ability to multitask
• Prioritise tasks to meet departmental service level agreements (SLAs)

Core Skills and Knowledge

• Act with integrity and embrace the philosophy of treating customers fairly (mandatory)
• Understand regulatory knowledge applicable to the role (mandatory)
• Coaching and assessment skills (mandatory for Managers and Supervisors)
• Strong analytical skills with a client-focused approach

Technical Knowledge

• Understanding of lease and asset finance
• Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements
• Familiarity with the Consumer Credit Act and other relevant regulatory requirements

Negotiation and Decision-Making

• Ability to negotiate optimal outcomes and make informed decisions

Relationship Management and Communication

• Skill in identifying, building, and maintaining strong relationships
• Communicate effectively with key stakeholders
