One Client Platform (OCP) is Investec's digital backbone. It aligns business units and unifies Marketing, Sales, Onboarding, Origination and Servicing journeys, to build a 360 degree view of the client for One Investec. Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) is at the heart of OCP.
This role is a D365 Functional Consultant within the OCP team, with responsibility for delivery into Investec businesses located outside of India, intially in the Channel Islands. The role will be involved with the full life cycle from business requirements, analysis, D365 development, QA, implementation, through to ongoing user and technical support.
Key accountabilities / responsibilities:
• Business process mapping, modelling and documentation knowledge
• Develop, design, and implement Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions as part of both project-focused and business as usual work streams
• Deployment, upgrades, and production support on systems for the application
• Manage business change i.e Workforce Engagement, Change Impact Assessment, Change Readiness & Training Plans
• Analysing & documenting integration mappings
• Low-code automation (workflows, business rules, power automate)
• Facilitating workshops, gathering, and documenting requirements, translating requirements into business processes and creative thinking.
• Continually develop your knowledge of new functionality in the Microsoft platforms, keeping on top of roadmaps, studying for certifications and being ahead of the curve regarding what the future holds and how it can benefit our end users.
Relevant skills, experience & attributes:
• Strong product expertise in Microsoft Dynamics and a deep understanding of the Banking industry
• Experience of working as part of an offshore team, engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders in other locations and timezones
• A proven ability to develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders
• A clear ability to understand and extract stakeholders & clients' needs and document these thoroughly
• Experience using project management tools (DevOps & Confluence)
• Worked with Microsoft Dynamics CRM front-end configuration (Version 9 & Unified Interface required)
• Experience in a similar role with an in-depth understanding of key project methodologies (agile/ scrum)
• Experience working within the financial sector
• Ability to work with & produce key project artefacts (functional design specifications, process maps, data flows and wireframes)
• Full lifecycle experience on CRM or ERP based programmes within Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Flexible attitude, critical thinking, ability to leverage technology to solve business problems
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage & prioritise workload to meet deadlines
• Comfortable running workshops, delivering training and producing training documentation
• Self-starter and proactive attitude
• Analytical with excellent problem-solving skills and an ability to work and perform in an agile environment with flexibility to change
