The Power BI Analyst will play a crucial role in enhancing the data analytics capabilities within the TTOPs and CLM teams. This position requires a strong understanding of financial data, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to create insightful visualisations that support decision-making processes. The successful candidate will collaborate with various stakeholders to identify reporting needs, develop dashboards, and ensure data integrity.

Description of role and key responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis and Reporting:
• Gather, analyse, and interpret complex financial data from various sources to inform TTOPs and CLM.
• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
• Work closely with TTOPs and CLM teams to understand their reporting requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.
• Collaborate with IT and data management teams to ensure data accuracy and availability.
• Visualisation and Presentation:
• Create visually appealing and user-friendly dashboards that effectively communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends.
• Present findings and insights to stakeholders, providing recommendations based on data analysis.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in data collection, analysis, and reporting practices.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data analytics and Power BI to enhance the team's capabilities.
• Training and Support:
• Provide training and support to team members on the use of Power BI and data visualisation best practices.
• Develop documentation and user guides to facilitate the adoption of BI tools and processes.

Core Skills and Knowledge:

• Experience:
  • Proven experience in data analysis and reporting, preferably within a Treasury, Trading or CLM environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Power BI, including data modelling, DAX, and report/dashboard development.
• Technical Skills:
  • Familiarity with SQL and data extraction techniques.
  • Understanding of financial concepts and metrics relevant to Treasury and Trading Operations.
• Analytical Skills:
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Interpersonal Skills:
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present findings to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
