What is the purpose of the role?

The reporting analyst will work within the Operations Transformation team, it will be your responsibility to ensure the team have all the reports and data it requires to fulfil regulatory reporting requirements and manage team performance.

What are the  duties and responsibilities?

  • Support and drive all departmental performance/ business reporting and analytics initiatives
  • Work closely with the BI team within Investec Bank to ensure they understand Operations reporting requirements, and that requirements are delivered on time and within scope
  • Working with the team, identify new areas of reporting required as a result of process & regulatory changes
  • Working with the wider teams to understand their reporting requirements to identify where needs may be shared and reporting combined
  • To create or maintain reports using PowerBI or Omniscope based on reporting requirements

To create applications using the Power Platform (PowerApps, and PowerAutomate) that will help improve operational activities.

What core skills and knowledge do we need?

  • Understanding of relevant industry regulations specifically their impact on the lending and mortgage environments. This includes the impact they will have on the various processes, procedures and implications.
  • Computer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, SQL and a reporting tool such as PowerBI
  • Planning, prioritisation, and organising capabilities
  • Questioning mind-set
  • High degree of initiative, commitment and enthusiasm
  • Ability to work in an ever changing environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills

What other attributes would be helpful for the role?

Previous experience in FCA lending reporting.
