Investec India is seeking a Senior .NET Engineer with a strong passion for designing and building scalable, resilient, and high-performance solutions specifically for our Debit and Credit Card Management.

You will be an integral part of a cross-functional team consisting of a product owner, software engineers, delivery manager, and QA engineers, all dedicated to enhancing our Transactional Banking Platform. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, from enhancing existing card features to developing new applications that redefine the banking experience. Your responsibilities will include the design, development, and implementation of innovative solutions for debit and credit card management, as well as the maintenance, enhancement, and support of existing systems that operate both on-premises and in the cloud.

As a Senior .NET Engineer, you will:

• Be comfortable building microservices and integrating with various card processing systems.
• Work within a software development team environment using source control and continuous integration practices.
• Write testable, clean, performance-oriented code that is maintainable by the team.
• Test your software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency, as well as troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a C# .NET Engineer, preferably in developing debit and credit card solutions or relevant fintech experience.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and services related to payment processing.
• Experience leading or mentoring engineers within a team setting.

Experience, skill and capability Must have a proficient knowledge of:

• C#, .Net Core
• Strong database knowledge (Relational & NoSQL)
• DevOps (Azure DevOps preferred)
• Writing automation test
• RESTful Principles
• Cloud experience (Azure preferred)

 Ideally have a working knowledge of:

• Frontend skills (React, Typescript)

• Event driven development
• Containerization
• API Management
