We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Equity Research Analyst to join our team. You will have experience in equity research, financial analysis, or a related field. This role involves conducting in-depth research on companies, sectors, and markets to support investment decisions and provide actionable insights.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Research & Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth analysis of financial statements, market data, and industry trends to identify investment opportunities.
- Evaluate companies' financial health, business models, and competitive positioning.
Modelling & Valuation:
- Develop and maintain financial models to project future earnings, cash flows, and valuations.
- Use valuation methodologies such as DCF, SOTP, relative valuation, and other financial metrics.
Report Writing:
- Prepare detailed research reports, investment theses, and sector updates.
- Draft summaries and recommendations for stakeholders and clients.
Monitoring:
- Track developments in assigned sectors, including earnings releases, regulatory updates, and macroeconomic indicators.
- Provide timely updates and revisions to existing research.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with lead analysts to align research findings with investment strategies.
- Participate in team discussions and contribute to brainstorming sessions.
Core Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Proficiency in financial modelling and valuation techniques.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and financial data platforms (e.g., Visible Alpha, FactSet).
- Understanding of global markets and key economic indicators.
