Description of role and key responsibilities
Rare opportunity to join a successful Fund Finance team, known for its creativity and experience which has ambitious plans to accelerate its growth trajectory across a 3 year strategic plan.
The Fund Finance team specialises in providing bespoke facilities to Funds and the entities which manage and control the funds. We are searching for an experienced deal doer to develop client relationships and lead deal processes across the spectrum of fund finance products but with particular focussed on the structured end of the market; Secondary PE, GP and NAV financing.
The Fund Solutions team are part of a collaborative Private Equity Group, also including Leverage Finance, Financial Sponsor Advisory and Treasury Risk Advisory. The team is also highly integrated with Power and Infrastructure, Real Estate and Private Banking teams. The candidate would have opportunities to identify opportunities across these other products and form teams to deliver multiproduct solutions to clients.
The team invests from the bank balance sheet and from capital raised from institutional investors, as well as underwriting and arranging transactions. A strong candidate would have a solution orientated mindset that can pivot from thinking about our Borrower client and our Investor client as well as the banks interests.
The team continues to grow its external capital sources and is currently working on mandate and fundraising processes, including in the NAV Financing space.
The team is experienced, energetic, ambitious and innovative. The environment is supportive and development focussed whilst being fast paced. High levels of empowerment are provided and as such high integrity and strong values are required. The team are developing and executing their strategic plans with the support of the bank and the candidate would be encouraged to input into these plans and help design and optimised products for the market & investors.
The Primary responsibility of this role will be to manage and lead new to Fund client channel transactions, assisting the senior originators with new deal structuring and pitches, identifying new opportunities, growing income, and driving the marketing program, which ultimately supports the growth of the business.
