Who are we?Investec is a distinctive specialist bank based on the edge of The City - opposite St. Paul's Cathedral.
This role sits within the Content team in UK Central Marketing – alongside our PR, Digital, Planning and Event management teams.

You will be a fluent writer and storyteller, able to translate complex text into plain English for a wider audience. More than anything you need to be ‘out of the ordinary'. What's our culture like?Our company culture is very different to many other banks. Within the Group Marketing function it's relaxed, informal and allows the individual the freedom to be creative and solution focused.
The Head of Content will articulate and execute a long-term strategy to drive engagement and business growth through relevant content targeting a range of audience sements. You will lead the team responsible for day-to-day delivery, while contributing directly to content projects as required. In addition to direct reports and a network of external suppliers, you will work closely with with key internal stakeholders, including the UK private client and global content teams, segment marketing leads and group marketing functions including PR, brand management and internal communications.
Do you have extensive experience as a leader in a content-related role, with a proven track record of delivering against commercial objectives?
Do you have an understanding of the financial services sector and a natural interest in finance, market trends and current affairs.
Do you have a working knowledge of marketing and communications principles and processes?
Are you experienced in distributing and promoting multimedia content on a range of owned, earned, direct and paid digital platforms?
The ability to work with analytics, interpreting data and translating them into actionable insights for reporting and decision-making.
A track record of developing strong and effective relationships with agencies and suppliers.
Experience working with web content management systems (AEM preferred, but not essential).
The role requires a strategic thinker who can also deliver commercial and operational outcomes.
You're able to articulate a vision, galvanise a team and get stuck in directly on key tasks as required.
You have the intellectual and emotional range to inspire, coach and empower people to perform to the best of their abilities
You're able to run complex, multi-channel content projects from conception to completion.
