Overview:
Investec's UK marketing team is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Digital, Media, Content & Social (DMCS) to lead our efforts in optimizing content output and channel mix to drive business growth. This role is pivotal in leveraging media and delivering impactful content to our diverse stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive digital media strategy that aligns with Investec's business goals.
- Team Management: Build and manage the DMCS team to deliver top-notch content and media strategies across various product and business verticals.
- Content Strategy: Oversee the creation and execution of a content marketing strategy that effectively reaches target audiences and supports business objectives.
- Performance Optimization: Utilize best practices in digital marketing to enhance Investec's brand performance within set resource limits.
- Collaboration: Work closely with global tech teams and colleagues in SA to create a cohesive and aligned approach.
- Agency Management: Manage relationships with external agencies to ensure optimal value and performance. Hold agencies accountable for media optimization and innovation.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Use analytics to drive content and channel strategy, ensuring alignment with client revenue targets and corporate objectives.
- Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging media opportunities and technologies to keep Investec at the forefront of digital marketing.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven track record in leading digital marketing teams within mid to large-sized corporates. Extensive experience in senior media, content, and social roles, either in an agency or in-house.
- Expertise: Deep knowledge of digital marketing services including SEO, PPC, content marketing, social media, email marketing, and conversion optimization.
- Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a team. Experience managing large client accounts and interacting with senior decision-makers.
- Creative & Strategic Thinking: Excellent strategic and analytical capabilities, with the ability to blend different marketing services to create effective strategies. Use the martech stack super effectively and find great solutions that push the boundaries for all the right reasons.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Marketing Automation platforms and ad platforms like Google Marketing Platform, LinkedIn Campaigns, Meta for Business, etc.
- Communication: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multi-agency workflows and stakeholder relationships effectively
Preferred Attributes:
- Industry Experience: Background in financial services.
- Additional Skills: Experience with PPC, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and CRM systems. An eye for design and ability to produce compelling copy.
Education:
- Degree: Relevant degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
- Certifications: Ideally CIM or IDM qualified.
