Head of Sales Enablement - Investec Wealth and Investments, UK

  • Primary focus on the UK Wealth and Investments business, whilst building relationships with Bank to ensure strategic collaboration
  • Preferably based from the London Office with travel to all local offices where needed

Sales Enablement and client experience:

  • The measure will be the commercial success of the sales teams and improvement of client experience
  • Lead the shift in culture in the business towards proactively creating value for clients as well as enabling a strong culture of leadership sales coaching
  • Focusing on the enablement curriculum of : onboarding, upskilling and ongoing learning around product/ solution knowledge, selling skills, Client EQ and understanding of our value proposition for all our colleagues
  • Partner with IWI leadership team to directly influence how teams use skills, tools and knowledge to better serve our clients
  • Includes but not limited to: delivering trainings, building internal learning collateral, evaluating team tools, optimizing internal processes for UK sales teams
  • Ensure all client facing colleagues have tools and knowledge to deliver exceptional service and value to our prospective and existing clients
  • Stakeholders to engage with include but are not limited to our clients, People & Organisation, Leadership teams, Data and Analytics, Marketing, and IT (n.b People & Org is a catch all for consulting, OD and Learning)
  • Ensure that skill transfer from training to implementation and ongoing learning is optimal
  • Define a proactive outbound sales strategy and focus for the business, with appropriate measurement and visibility
  • Align a data strategy to enable continuous client value creation through face to face and digital engagement
  • Negotiate with vendors to ensure that all sales training aligns to internal sales philosophy and culture
  • A focus on helping Investec build a relationship with clients that is greater than the one they hold solely with their IM or FP Investment Manager/ FP – i.e. helping to institutionalize the client and optimize opportunities across the group
  • Work with leadership to bring in a balance between input and output based measurement of sales leaders and client facing staff
  • Act as a thinking partner/ coach to sales leaders in order to develop and implement proactive sales strategies for teams
  • Present to the Executive on a regular basis trends in growth performance as well as potential opportunities and threats to hitting growth targets

To be considered for this role, you must have extensive experience in sales and client enablement.
