Right now we're a team of 1500+ dedicated professionals located across 15 sites in the UK. We're looking to strengthen our team and need you to come on board and make a difference.

Overview of Objectives and Responsibilities

  • Cultivate effective relationships with key decision makers at National IFA Firms, IFA Networks and IFA Investment Platforms
  • Increase the number of National IFA Firms and IFA Networks that ‘panel' Investec Wealth & Investment Services, thereby increasing the business flows from these entities.
  • Cultivate increased business flows into Investec Wealth & Investment Services from IFA Investment Platforms.
  • Achieve this by proactively identifying who the key decision makers are in National IFA Firms, IFA Networks and IFA Investment Platforms and establishing and/or developing relationships with them.
  • Investec Wealth & Investment's main point of contact for senior personnel at all National IFA Firms, IFA Networks and IFA Investment Platforms.
  • Build, maintain and monitor a central database of all National IFA Firm, IFA Network and IFA Investment Platform relationships
  • Assist Investec Wealth & Investment's regional Business Development Directors in engaging with local members of National IFA Firms and IFA Networks in order to increase business flows from these members.
  • Assist Investec Wealth & Investment in breaking down barriers to business. For example, with respect to National IFA Firms and IFA Networks, this will likely mean enabling IFAs to easily access Investec Wealth & Investment services for their clients.  
  • Plan and deliver sales seminars for key existing or prospective relationships (at National IFA Firms, IFA Networks and IFA Investment Platforms)
  • Liaise with a broad variety of teams at Investec Wealth & Investment to ensure that they have sufficient expertise to promote Investec Wealth & Investment services effectively.

Required Skills

  • Confident and have proficient presentation and public speaking skills.
  • Have a high level of general market and competitor knowledge.
  • Experience in successfully promoting wealth management services to IFA Networks and National IFA Firms.
  • Deep understanding of how IFA Networks and National IFA Firms operate, including the specific areas that will affect the level of business flows from these entities to Investec Wealth & Investment.
  • Strong investment and fund knowledge in terms of management style – and variables that contribute to and detract from performance.


  • Increase AUM from National IFA Firms, IFA Networks and IFA Investment Platforms, in line with targets that will be periodically set by management
  • Increase the number of IFA Network an National IFA Firm panels on which Investec Wealth & Investment services are approved
  • Increase users of Investec Wealth & Investment services on IFA Investment Platforms
