Role: Investment Administrator
The Cheltenham office comprises 26 people in total, with FUM of around a billion. Headcount includes eight investment managers, a Discretionary Desk and Financial Planning team, supported by experienced administrators and secretarial staff. Client base is predominantly UK private-client, but includes trusts and charities.
Description of role and key responsibilities
General assistance to Investment Managers, in particular attending reviews with clients (currently held virtually) and all related administration.
Liaise with other administrators and Settlement areas as necessary.
Develop knowledge of, and comply with, all regulatory and organisational requirements / procedures.
Proactively develop familiarity with all aspects of client administration.
Carry out full range of administrative duties to support the investment team and office as a whole.

Exceptional focus on attention to detail
Good numerical skills
Highly IT literate with an ability to learn new systems.
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience of Mail Merge would be an advantage.
Working knowledge of Pulse is desirable but not essential.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with Investment Managers and clients.
Excellent telephone manner.
Relevant administrative experience in a financial services environment.
Other attributes that would be helpful, but not essential for the role.
