Investment Administrator, London

About the team:

An exciting opportunity to join the London charities team which oversees over £2bn of funds under management. The team specifically look after charity and not for profit clients across the UK, and the opportunity exists to join the team as it enters an exciting growth phase.
You would be joining a growing team of eight investment managers and two investment administrators who are all dedicated to supporting charities with their investments and have many years of experience in the sector.

What will you be doing? 

• Carry out full range of administrative duties as requested or by using own initiative.
• Liaise with various departments throughout the business necessary
• Preparation of forms for potential new clients to ensure they meet internal and regulatory standards
• Liaise with clients and/or advisers to on-board new accounts
• Arranging the transfer of investments for new and existing client ensuring the transfer is completed as efficiently as possible.
• Build relationships with existing clients through supporting them with their administrative needs.

What are we looking for?

• Competent at working to deadlines and managing own time.
• Flexible attitude to work in response to changing workloads and deadlines within the team.
• Exceptional focus on attention to detail
• Good numerical skills
• Highly IT literate with an ability to learn new systems.
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Working knowledge of Fiscal and Pulse is desirable but not essential.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with Investment Managers and clients.
• Excellent telephone manner.
• Relevant administrative experience in a private client investment support or financial services role

Any other attributes that would be helpful, but not essential for the role.

• Already have the IAD qualification, or be prepared to work towards it with the necessary support from the team/business
