Role: Investment Risk Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity for an individual with an analytical mind who is keen to progress with a career in Investment Risk.  We will consider graduates for this vacancy so if the below profile sounds like you, please do not hesitate to apply.

Risk lies at the heart of modern investment management, and our task is to help Investment Managers spend their budget effectively.  This is achieved through a number of risk tools - you will be provided with in depth training on all of the systems.

What will you be doing?

  • To assist in providing a suitability system Quality Assurance service.
  • To assist in providing a wider suitability process service to our FMs and their assistants. This will include training, administrative functions and MI data extraction and processing and ad hoc project investigations.
  • The Investment Risk team is small and this position will develop to provide assistance in other team functions including performance analysis and risk modelling.

What are the role specific tasks?

  • Help run the suitability exception approval system.
  • Extract and manipulate large MI data files.
  • Deliver suitability related project reports.
  • Support the benchmark maintenance service that the team will run once built.
  • Support subject area experts in the performance and risk analysis functions as well as the client detriment function.
