Investec Fund Solutions 

This is a legal counsel role within Investec Group Services India (IGSI) supporting the Investec Fund Solutions business, within the Private Equity Client Group.  Investec Fund Solutions provides financing solutions to investment funds and their managers globally, with particular focus on U.K., European and North American markets.  With decades of experience the team is recognised as a leader in the industry.  We draw on our deep expertise to create tailored financing solutions for our clients, across all stages of the fund life and capital structure. 

What does the role involve?

The candidate will provide legal support to the relationship managers serving the Fund Solutions team's client base, with primary focus on:

• Assisting with the implementation of all new facility requests (NFRs) under our umbrella capital call framework agreements, ensuring all documentation reflects the Bank's risk appetite and compliance with credit approvals / policies from time to time.
• Negotiating and executing amendments, waivers, letters of credit and other matters that may arise in relation to the loan book, including in relation to syndicated facilities involving other lenders, sub participants and structured funding programs.
• Negotiating and executing all non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) with existing and prospective clients of the Fund Solutions team as well as in respect of our syndication processes (standalone and umbrella NDA structures).
• good understanding and experience of working on bank lending transactions (preferably LMA and/or LSTA standard loan documentation or similar governed by English or NY law) and have a mature understanding of legal risk. 
• Previous experience of working in leading international law firms and/or financial institutions will be viewed as a positive.
• candidate with 3-5 years post qualification experience (but will consider exceptional candidates with more or less experience).

As part of our collaborative & agile culture, our working week is 4 days in the office and one day remote.
