Marketing Operations Assistant (12 Month Parental Leave Cover) (3461)

Description of role:

Assist the Marketing teams to achieve their goals in an efficient, compliant and cost effective manner. Liaising with internal functions such as Legal, Finance, Compliance and Audit to ensure that all marketing activity is carried out effectively, timely and within the Investec frame work.

Key responsibilities:

  • Signatory list maintenance
  • Drafting basic contracts including NDAs and Speaker agreements prior to legal sign off
  • Management of expiring contracts
  • Key supplier reporting
  • Audit assistance including Control Self-Assessment updates
  • Internal recharging and reconciliation of adhoc marketing activities
  • Monthly Gift Cupboard reporting/ recharges and invoice reconciliation
  • Daily management of Gift Cupboard orders including liaising with external and internal stakeholders
  • Management of the shared email box

What are we looking for in the successful candidate?

  • Microsoft office intermediate (Outlook, Powerpoint, Word and Excel)
  • Must have the ability to create and maintain strong relationships and channels of communication (internal and external)
  • Must possess project management skills combined with exceptional multi-tasking skills
  • Understanding of financial services compliance and regulatory knowledge
  • To act with integrity at all times and treat our customers fairly

What are some attributes that would be helpful, but are not essential to this role?

  • Team player
  • Organised with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to implement robust processes
  • Experience working in a Financial Services or insurance background
  • Understanding of contract formation and terms, along with SLAs
  • Self-motivated and comfortable in a fast-paced and rapidly-changing environment
