This is an exciting opportunity for you to be part of an ambitious, diverse and dynamic team. The role will be based in our Manchester office and you will work closely with the London team and be responsible for producing a consistent flow of new-to-bank clients across the north of England. You will have a focus on two main areas;
Treasury Products & Distribution provides foreign exchange, interest rate, commodity and money-market services to predominantly founder or family run businesses, mid-large sized private and listed companies.
Investment Banking & Securities provides corporate finance and securities brokerage services. We offer our clients expertise in merges and acquisitions, initial public offerings, fundraising, management buyouts and restructuring advice. We also offer equity research, sales, trading and market making services.

The Origination team is the engine room of the business, responsible for the first part of our clients' experience and journey with Investec. Starting off with the identification and qualification of potential clients, right the way through to arranging and attending the first meeting. You will learn how to develop, market and sell new business ideas to clients and have experience in the relevant markets and sectors, identifying, targeting and winning new clients.

No product or banking experience required. We are looking for sales ability, an innate desire to learn, and the curiosity to succeed
