Operations Business Analyst – Client Servicing Programmes (4936)

What we're looking for

The Programme Team has a delivery and strategic planning capabilities which together creates and maintains an achievable and affordable change portfolio for Wealth. Specifically, the Client Servicing Portfolio delivers a coherent and cohesive change portfolio which is driven by the firm's strategic objectives, in particular, improvements to transacting, settling, accounting and processing.

As a Senior Business Analyst, your primary role will be to aid the delivery of change driven by the Programme. You will be tasked with understanding and capturing business processes and change requirements and analysing and documenting these using various tools and techniques. This will mean working and collaborating with stakeholders and the team remotely and in the offices where required.

Your role 

  • You will be responsible for eliciting business requirements, including: GAP analysis, AS-IS to TO-BE process and scenario building, Data capture and analysis and Conceptual solution design
  • Great at document preparation - defining and authoring structured BA documentation as required (e.g. requirements documents, user stories, end-user guides, process maps etc.)
  • Provide product ownership and project support including: stakeholder sign-off, test case preparation, user acceptance testing, solution verification and post implementation support.
  • Act as a conduit between the business, developers and support functions, working with other Product Owners, Scrum Masters and Testers.
  • Recommend any changes to or improvements in both working practices and service delivery.

What you bring to the table

  • A thorough understanding of Wealth Management business processes; familiar with the latest Wealth Management trends and challenges.
  • Experience of dealing with multiple senior stakeholders across multiple business areas (Front Office, Technology, Compliance, Risk, Legal)
  • Regulatory delivery experience
  • Experience of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Prior Product Ownership experience will be considered a plus point.

You will be familiar with numerous structured business analysis techniques, in particular:

  • MoSCoW
  • Process Mapping
  • Solution investigation and documenting results
  • Stakeholder identification, analysis and management
  • Organisation modelling, business process analysis and business change identification
  • Evaluating options, preparing and presenting business cases
  • Running effective workshops to understand business requirements
  • Defining and analysing requirements within user stories
