Description of the Role:

The Oracle Hyperion EPM Systems Developer will play a critical role in the design, development, and implementation of Oracle Hyperion Planning and Essbase solutions. This position requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in Oracle Hyperion products, particularly in the areas of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting. The individual will collaborate closely with finance teams to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions that enhance reporting, analysis, and decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain Oracle Hyperion Planning and Essbase applications, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices.
Collaborate with finance teams to gather requirements and provide technical guidance on Hyperion functionalities.
Create and manage data integration processes ensuring seamless data flow between systems.
Develop and implement ETL processes using Microsoft SQL and similar technologies to support data warehousing and reporting needs.
Conduct performance tuning and optimisation of Hyperion applications to enhance user experience and system efficiency.
Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Hyperion applications, addressing user issues and system errors promptly.
Develop documentation for system configurations, ETL processes, and user guides to facilitate knowledge transfer and training.
Stay updated with the latest Oracle EPM Cloud features and enhancements, recommending upgrades or changes as necessary.
Participate in project planning and execution, ensuring timely delivery of solutions within time constraints.

Additional Good To Have Aspects:

Relevant finance qualification (e.g., CFA, CPA, or equivalent) or a degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
Experience with other Oracle EPM products or financial software systems.
Knowledge of cloud computing concepts and experience with cloud-based deployments.
Familiarity with Agile or other project management methodologies.

Experience in training users on Hyperion applications and providing technical support.
