Role: Portfolio Manager (Discretionary Desk)
The Manchester Discretionary Desk was created just over five years ago and since then the assets under management by the Team have essentially doubled thanks to inflow and notable positive performance to benchmark. To position the Desk for the next five years the team is seeking a capable discretionary fund manager to join the existing team of three. With at least three years' experience post qualification the individual will be responsible for not only for day to day investment management but also contribute to future development of the Desk with the opportunity to attain greater seniority within natural succession planning.

To provide high quality Portfolio investment Management in line with the mandate set by client, whilst adhering to all regulatory and organisational requirements and procedures. The role would centre upon the agreed Manchester Discretionary Desk principles of management and the role will require continued contribution to the most appropriate portfolio structure.
