Description of role and key responsibilities :

The purpose of this role is to support the Private Client Lending Specialist team with all operational and administrative tasks relating to loan applications and credit structuring.

The roles and responsibilities include**:

• Preparation of credit applications, loan and mortgage agreements with a good understanding of MOT, CRM and other systems required across the lending process. Ensure consistent and accurate capturing of client information at all touch points.

• Good understanding of our end-to-end process for loan applications to enable timely input of data

• Preparation and processing of all data relating to loan applications, ensuring all required documentation is collected and verified where applicable.

• Maintain accurate records of loan applications and updates in the system.

• Input and maintain data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with processes and regulatory requirements.

• A thorough understanding of all systems relating to loan processing including CRM, MOT, SNOW and others.A good understanding of the regulatory and risk environment and what responsibilities you have in adhering to the right outcomes for the business, yourself and clients.

Work closely with the Lensing Specialists and RMs to facilitate smooth communication and efficient workflow.
Effective engagement with stakeholders to ensure SLAs are met including RMs, operational stakeholders and credit.

Performance:

Ensure performance outcomes set out in your performance framework are met both on a quantitative and qualitative basis

Constantly review performance to find ways to improve speed, efficiency and commercial outcomes.

Continuous learning - work with your team leader to identify skills gaps and co-create development plans to close these.

Core skills and knowledge :

Experienced candidate in residential mortgage/similar profile between 3-8 years
To act with integrity at all times and embrace the philosophy of treating our customers fairly (compulsory)
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to process high volumes of loan applications through the system
Knowledge of the regulatory framework within which the mortgage team operates
Strong communication and time management skills
Energetic, self starter motivated by time spent with, and solving problems for, clients
Commercial acumen, resilience, continuous learning and adaptation
