Private Client Product and Proposition Specialist (9926)

What is the purpose of the role?   

The Product and Proposition Analyst within the Private Client business is responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and developing a comprehensive product offering tailored to meet the unique needs of high-net-worth (HNW) clients. This role collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to design and implement a holistic product and service offering, ensuring seamless integration with third-party partners in areas such as wealth planning and advice. The Product and Proposition Analyst conducts market research and analysis to identify opportunities for product innovation, differentiation, and enhancement that cater to the specific requirements of HNW clients.

What are the key responsibilities?

Collaborative Product Development:

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to design and implement a holistic product and service offering that integrates seamlessly with third-party partners, such as wealth planning and advice providers. Ensure alignment with consumer regulations, liquidity considerations, regulatory capital requirements, internal models, and business processes.


Product Offering Maintenance and Enhancement:

Maintain and enhance the existing product offering, including internal and external product collateral, annual product governance framework (PGF) reviews, proposition matrix, and client documentation. Field queries from relationship managers regarding the product and proposition offering, ensuring accurate representation of changes in client documents and effective implementation in relevant systems.

 

Market Research and Analysis:

Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify opportunities for product innovation, differentiation, and enhancement. Stay informed about industry trends and client preferences to customize product offerings and address evolving client needs effectively.


Alignment with Wealth Planning and Advice:

Align product and proposition strategies with the wealth planning and advice framework to maintain consistency and coherence in the overall client offering. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure a seamless and integrated client experience.


Client Engagement and Feedback:

Engage with HNW clients, relationship managers, and wealth advisors to solicit feedback, understand client preferences, and gather insights to customize product offerings. Use client feedback to drive product enhancements and improvements.


Project Management and Change Implementation:

Act as the subject matter expert for product projects and changes, taking ownership of successful implementation. Work closely with multiple stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and coordination. Interact with the wider Strategic Operations team, including Pricing, Data, MI, Process, and Change, to ensure alignment and synergy in delivering product-related initiatives.

By effectively fulfilling these responsibilities, the Product and Proposition Analyst contributes to the overall success of the Private Client business by maintaining a comprehensive and tailored product offering, driving innovation and differentiation, and ensuring a seamless and integrated client experience.

What core skills and knowledge are we looking for? 

•    Proven experience in product development, proposition management, or similar roles within the financial services industry, with a focus on HNW banking being advantageous.
•    Strong analytical capabilities, comprehensive market knowledge, and strategic acumen.
•    Exceptional communication, collaboration, and relationship management skills.
•    A customer-centric approach and a commitment to delivering innovative and personalized solutions to high-net-worth individuals.
•    Proactive and client-focused approach, alongside a drive for driving product innovation and enhancing the client experience in the HNW banking sector.
