QA Engineer (12267)

Roles and Responsibilities:

Write, design, and execute automated tests by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically.
Building automated tests across the stack where applicable, maximize test coverage for the most critical features of the system.
Determine the priority test scenarios and create execution plans to implement these scenarios.
Write documentation for automated processes including test plans, test procedures and test cases. Build / Maintain test automation frameworks, log and document bugs in the tracking set up Continuous Integration.
Defect tracking and reporting tools, Risk Analysis and Static Techniques, Test Techniques.
Knowledge of DevOps principle will be needed to test support/ maintenance implementations.
Review business requirements,creation and execution of Functional, Integration, End-to-End, Regression, UAT & Automation(API).
Coordinate and support UAT with business users.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using xUnit, NUnit for Backend and MS Playwright with C# or TypeScript for Frontend.
Participate in Agile/ Scrum ceremonies such as stand-up, planning sessions and retrospectives.

Core skills and knowledge:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology or related fields.
Min 5 years experience in the testing competency.
Experience in Azure pipelines and programming languages such as C# in .Net.
Good communication skills and experience working in an Agile development environment.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure pipelines.
Extensive experience of API testing, REST & SOAP.
Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases such as Azure Cosmos DB.
Solid experience in the implementation of the STLC (Test Planning, Monitoring and Control - including reporting, Test Analysis and design, Test
Execution, Test Closure) throughout the project lifecycle.
