I received some exciting news in July of 2021 which means I am going on maternity leave in February. I'm now looking for someone to replace me for 12 months. As a senior recruiter in the team I am responsible for strategic delivery across the business enablement areas in Investec (corporate functions areas like marketing, finance, legal, risk, operations). What does this mean? It means I hold the end to end responsibility for delivery in this space, I have the relationships at a senior level and I work with leaders to understand their business strategy and support them with resourcing. I am their first point of contact should there be any escalations and when they want to think about their longer term hiring strategy.I also hold the delivery of recruitment for Finance, Legal, Risk and Compliance. As a business partner to my business I am responsible for attraction, assessment and delivering an out of the ordinary candidate experience. No two requirements are the same and I work with hiring teams to scope and deliver the best recruitment solutions, this also includes internal mobility.
As well as the BAU I am actively involved in lots of projects throughout the year which include: interview training, process redesign, reporting, NPS, PSL updates and lots of belonging inclusion and diversity initiatives. There is lots of interesting and exciting work to keep someone busy as this is a dynamic fast paced organisation which is pioneering the way in recruitment practices. There will be a lot of autonomy and creativity to perfect and update recruitment and put your stamp on it. I know a lot of people say this but, I really do have the best team around me. It is the reason why I have stayed so long. They are reliable, supportive and are a great bunch to work with. We can also have a laugh and it is because of this team work ethic that we are such a high performing team. We keep each other in check.
