What you'll do:

  • Proactively attract and recruit experienced talent for Investec Wealth and Investment
  • Partner with hiring leaders in order to provide a value add recruitment partnership
  • Facilitate internal mobility across the Group (Bank and Wealth and Investment) 
  • Be the employer brand ambassador for the Group
  • Provide market intelligence and data insights that support and influence recruitment decisions
  • To understand the business strategy and culture in order to attract the best candidates for the organisation
  • To drive multiple channels of recruitment through headhunting, market mapping, referrals and internal mobility
  • Collaboratively working with the Recruitment Coordinator to ensure smooth end to end delivery and fantastic candidate experience
  • Partner with the People and Organisation Consultants and People Services team to ensure a seamless and timely recruitment process with a focus on a positive candidate experience.

About you:

  • Deep in house recruitment experience in a high touch environment
  • A passion and focus for a positive candidate experience
  • Financial Services recruitment network and knowledge preferable
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Sufficiently detailed knowledge of financial services products and business processes
  • Ability to work in a regulated environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships with multiple personalities and manage multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to direct source though multiple channels
  • Highest integrity, entrepreneurial and forward thinking
  • Good attention to detail with a strong work ethic
  • Flexible & dynamic – self-motivated & driven, an ability to work in a matrix environment and deal with change
  • Innovative and out of the ordinary approach to problem solving.
