Description of role and key responsibilities?

An exciting opportunity to join a new dynamic and collaborative team with the responsibility for driving sales to existing and newly acquired High Net Worth Clients in the Property Entrepreneur sector for the Private Client business and wider Investec group. 

Roles & Responsibilities include:

What Sales Management / Client Engagement really entail?

Primary focus to manage and develop a sales management plan for acquiring new clients together with existing relationships with the aim of building and maintaining the portfolio, whilst continually identifying further business opportunities aligned to the client's needs.

Identify referral opportunities and partner with Investec Group specialisations in delivering solutions to our clients.

Deliver a superior client service that ensures overall TCF (Treating Customers Fairly) principles and that the right client outcomes are achieved.

Use of CRM as primary client relationship management system

 Understanding and accurate capturing of MI

 

How do you build Turnover & Net Book Growth?

 By originating lending opportunities to both existing clients and acquiring new clients for the Property Entrepreneurs Team

To liaise with credit analysts to assess risk and appropriately price lending regulated lending opportunities.

Acting as “first line of credit” to mitigate credit risk for the bank

To relationship manage the regulated lending business for all clients within the Property Entrepreneurs Team.

 

FX/Transactional Banking

Originate new target market clients through lending, transactional banking, savings and foreign exchange.

 

AUM

Work together with dedicated Investment Manager & Financial Planners to refer & convert AUM opportunities to IW&I

 

Core skills and knowledge

·        To act with integrity at all times and embrace the philosophy of treating our customers fairly (compulsory)

·        Regulatory Knowledge as applicable to role (compulsory)

·        A proven track record in sales, networking, origination and business development skills and expertise

·        Experience originating clients through lending, FX, AUM, Transactional banking & Savings

·        Experience providing bespoke lending solutions for target market clients aligned to their needs

·        Client relationship management skills

·        Understanding of all relevant internal processes, procedures, compliance and regulatory requirements e.g. AML, Conduct Risk etc.

·        Specialist financial, market, competitor and banking knowledge

Relevant banking and financial markets qualifications and experience (CeMap (or equivalent) is compulsory before undertaking regulated mortgage 

activities)
