Join our hugely successful Institutional Sales team who are responsible for distributing products originated by the Asset Teams of the Bank. In this role you will be managing relationships with external professional and institutional counter parties across the Power and Infrastructure space. We're looking for a strong Syndicator that wants to work in a fast paced, proactive environment and who wants to be part of our growth story.

What you'll do

  • Work with Front Office asset origination teams to syndicate primary deals and sell down existing risk of Investec balance sheet.
  • Proactively manage existing portfolio of clients.  To have a thorough knowledge of client activities and investment risk appetite.  To keep in regular contact with clients to be aware of any changes in investment sentiment.
  • To ensure that all products marketed by Investec are represented to clients appropriately, including any other bank wide opportunities that the desk is not directly involved in.

About you

  • Demonstrable experience in syndication in the Power / Infrastructure market.
  • Client-oriented mentality, you thrive in working at pace 
  • Effective communicator with high levels of motivation and self-origination
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, integrating tact and diplomacy
  • Self-confident & energetic
