We are seeking an astute, robust, creative and well-connected communications expert to join our team at Investec Bank. As the Senior Corporate Communications Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of Investec's corporate communications and executive PR program in the UK, aimed at promoting and protecting the Group's reputation and supporting the commercial goals of the business.
We are looking for a candidate who is driven to find unique ways to engage our stakeholders with the story of the Group's growth journey. You should have a strong track record working in the banking sector, with excellent media contacts in banking and financial services. You should have an academic qualification in communication or related discipline and excellent written skills with the ability to write for a variety of audiences, channels, and leadership styles. You should have first rate interpersonal skills for developing relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally.
This role will protect and enhance the reputation of Investec Bank plc (predominantly in the UK, Channel Islands but also in Europe, India and the USA) by developing and maintaining a compelling corporate narrative for the business, with a focus on developing and driving impactful communications programmes which showcase our sustainability, Belonging, Inclusion and Diversity (BID), and Digital and Technology credentials, ambitions and successes.
