We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team in developing and supporting a diverse range of financial software solutions. You'll have a genuine passion for programming and a drive to learn and grow within a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Roles and Responsibilities-

• Designing, building, and maintaining a suite of business applications and automation workflows for the front office and back office including regulatory and risk reporting.
• Taking ownership of the entire software development lifecycle, including, solution design, implementation, testing, and deployment for both client-facing and internal systems.
• Collaborating closely with diverse stakeholders from various departments i.e. research, trading and corporate broking to understand business requirements and deliver impactful solutions.
• Developing workflow automation to streamline business processes, enhance operational efficiency, and resolve complex business challenges.
• Integrating modern APIs (inc. Azure AI Services) to enhance application intelligence and automate repetitive business tasks.
• A solid full stack engineering background with experience in C#, .NET, SQL, TypeScript and Azure PaaS.
• Strong experience in developing large-scale web applications, robust high traffic APIs and process automation workflows.
• Experience in building user interfaces using modern frameworks (e.g. React, Angular) including state management libraries.
• Experience using AI coding copilots (e.g. GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) to accelerate development, reduce boilerplate, and improve code quality.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, architects and senior engineers to design, develop, test and implement solutions.
• Write clean code that is secure, testable and performance oriented.
• Participate in code reviews and peer programming sessions to contribute to the team's overall improvement.
• Communicate with internal enablement teams and third-party vendors to integrate new technologies into the business.

Core skills and knowledge-

• Knowledgeable of software engineering fundamentals from design, coding and testing through to deployment and monitoring.
• Solid understanding of C#, .Net, SQL and Typescript.
• Extensive experience using Azure Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) offerings, including App Services, Container Apps, Azure Functions, Key Vault, Entra ID, Log Analytics
• Experience with infrastructure as code i.e. ARM / Terraform / Bicep.
• Good experience with database technologies i.e. SQL, CosmosDB
• Good experiences of applying AI productivity tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot in Microsoft 365) in daily workflows for task automation, documentation, and planning.
• Understanding of ETL automation and use in business processes.
• Experience using Azure Devops for planning, building, scanning and deploying production code via pipelines.

Good to have -

• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, with a focus on tracking and improving performance using DORA metrics.
• Passion for problem solving and enjoyment in dealing with complex technical issues.
• Experience working with CRM platforms and integrating with related APIs, i.e. Dynamics 365, Salesforce.
• Good understanding of financial markets and Investment banking business, including equities & corporate broking.
• Ability to work under pressure and context switch when priority requires.
• Willingness to learn, with a proactive nature in asking questions to expand knowledge.
• Passionate about creating innovative AI driven solutions for the future.
