(Senior) Investment Director, Bristol

Join us in an exciting growth phase. The Bristol office consists of six Investment Managers and four Trainee Investment Managers. We also have a dedicated Business Development team, servicing professional intermediaries, Financial Planning and well established private client administrative team.  

What will you be doing?

• To provide high quality, professional Portfolio Management services to private clients
• Assess relationship between clients' circumstances/objectives and portfolio objectives in terms of suitability
• Engage and network with the local community to continually grow the business.
• Keep abreast of the in-house research process and market developments, recommending and implementing timely and appropriate changes to investment portfolios
• Liaise closely with Financial Planning and Discretionary Fund Management teams
• Manage all assets on an ongoing basis
• Engaging with Investec Bank when beneficial for the clients

What are we looking for?

• Great experience within Investment Management with demonstrable experience in building client relationships
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong explanatory and presentation skills
• Strong numeracy and literary skills
• Knowledge of regulatory obligations in relation to your role as an Approved Person
• Knowledge of compliance requirements, including but not limited to: Data Protection, AML, Market Abuse, Fraud Awareness, Advising & Selling, Conduct Risk, Client Assets, Bribery & Corruption, Financial Crime, Gifts Policy
