Service Desk Analyst x2 (6 month FTC) (9857)

Investec are looking for 2 x Service Desk Analysts to work on our IT Service Desk, supporting the Business to ensure the efficient resolution of as many IT incidents and requests as possible, at first point of contact.

The Service Desk Analyst acts as the first point of contact for any incidents or requests which relate to our services and software. Where incidents/requests cannot be resolved, the IT Service Desk will escalate to the relevant technical team to investigate.

What you will be doing

•    Provide helpful and efficient technical support to all staff members.
•    Engage with colleagues to resolve IT Operations incidents and/or requests where possible.
•    Maintain effective communication through the lifespan of IT Operations incidents & requests up until closure.
•    Promote knowledge and guidance to both business colleagues and IT Operations staff.

•   Resolve incidents/requests as effectively and efficiently as possible.
•    Escalate issues that require more technical assistance.
•    Develop and understand new services which come into the IT Operations environment.
