Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review corporate tax returns, advance tax computations, and tax audit reports.
• Support tax assessments, respond to notices, and assist in litigation matters.
• Monitor changes in Indian direct tax laws and assess their impact on the business. Contributing to overall expense management and ensuring adherence to various policies and processes.
• Ensure timely and accurate GST compliance, including returns, reconciliations, and input tax credit management.
• Support GST audits, assessments, and respond to queries from tax authorities.
• Advise on GST implications for cross-border and inter-unit transactions.
• Ensuring timely compliance with regulatory and statutory deadlines.
• Ensuring the timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax compliance (Indirect Tax, Direct Tax & Transfer Pricing).
• Finalizing annual financial audits by liaising directly with external auditors (Big 4) (Statutory, Tax, Transfer Pricing, GST).
• Ensuring the timely completion of Safe Harbour filing.
• Providing support for advance payment agreement
• Maintaining a strong and adequate control environment to minimise operational risk.

Technical knowledge and experience:

• CA with 3-4 years post-qualified experience (essential)
• Good understanding of GCC (advantageous but not essential)
• Experience in SOFTEX filing and safe harbour compliance.
• Excellent accounting skills (essential)
• Knowledge of IGAAP, IndAS & IFRS (advantageous but not essential)
• Proficient in the use of MS Excel
