This is a new and exciting role within our growing Private Client Credit team. There is a huge amount of autonomy in this role as well as a real focus on the client. You will work hand in hand with our Private Bankers and will be responsible for analysing and sanctioning (or declining) new business proposals for the Private Client business. In this role, you are the Subject Matter Expert for High Net Worth proposals; primarily Residential and Commercial mortgages, loans, portfolio lending and overdrafts. You will have an opportunity to act within your own discretionary mandate and for higher value transactions, as part of a wider quorum.

Core skills and knowledge:
You will have a clear understanding of the private client portfolio including its broad range of clients/sectors and assets.
Proven ability to analyse complex financial statements for both individuals or businesses
Possess a deep understanding of High Net Worth lending and related financial products
Sound awareness of market landscape, competitors, relevant instruments within the market and knowledge of how the business operates
Sound knowledge of the CCA / MCOB regulatory environment.
Be commercial in exercising judgement and have a good understanding of legal, market, and operational risk impacts on lending decisions
